The Puntland Association of Midwives is joyfully sharing in the celebration of International Midwives' Day, which falls on May 5th, with all midwives across Puntland.

As a part of “Strengthening Midwifery Education & Practice In Somalia” Which is a 5 years project funded by Canadian Global Affairs and led by UNFPA Somalia and Canadian Association of Midwives. The Tanzania Midwives Association - TAMA invited us to a 5days Peer to Peer Midwifery Exchange. It was our pleasure to be part of this successful joint event.

Supported by Canadian Association of Midwives and UNFPA Somalia we raised awareness on SRHR targeting young generations, community leaders, and vulnerable people living into internal displaced camps “IDPS” Saving women from harmful practices is one of our priorities as midwives
